Marcus Lundy serves as Vice President, Global Head of Supplier Sustainability and Supplier Diversity for Capital Group Companies. Capital Group ranks among the world’s oldest and largest investment management organizations, with over $2.6 trillion in assets under management. Founded in Los Angeles, California in 1931, it is privately held and has offices around the globe in the Americas, Asia, Australia, and Europe.

Lundy was Co-Chair of The World Games 2022 World of Opportunity Committee for Inclusive Procurement, and a member of the Selection Committee, Alabama Sports Hall of Fame. In addition, Lundy has been recognized by the Birmingham Business Journal as a 2022 Leader in Diversity and by Diversity Plus Magazine, as a Top 25 Diversity Change Leader in 2021.

Prior to joining Capital Group and assuming his current role in February of 2022, Lundy served as Senior Vice President, Supplier Diversity at Regions Bank. And earlier in senior leadership roles at Wells Fargo Advisors, Wachovia Securities, and AmSouth Investments.

Lundy earned a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University. He further studied at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, completing the Emerging Leaders program. Currently Lundy is attaining a master’s in Management and Leadership, at Campbellsville University. He is also a former Birmingham City Council Member (2013-2017).
